As marketers, it’s a constant struggle to make an intimate connection that resonates with consumers. There’s no single fix that works universally for all clients in all verticals. Let me spare you the overstated pandemic rhetoric covering the obvious economic & social challenges that we’re facing. As marketers, we’re used to changing markets so now isn’t a time for excuses, but rather innovation.

We’re constantly facing new challenges, while COVID has likely (and hopefully) presented us with our most difficult professional challenge, the challenge in itself presents an opportunity for creative minds to unite, propelling marketing initiatives that create unique & personal bonds between business & consumer. This is where promotional products enter the scene.

Promotional products help marketers make a direct impact with consumers on a regular basis. In comparison to digital ads where they come and go in the blink of an eye, promo stays with the average consumer for just over 12 months according to ASI. The point is, people hold onto their promo, from t-shirts to pens, and everywhere in between, promo leaves an impact as it enters the life of your consumers.

Finding products that resonate with your audience is key. And right now, there are some universal items that everybody will need until at least the end of the year from branded face masks to touch-free tools, if you place your brand on them you’re getting your foot in the door of your consumer's everyday life.

Beyond the obvious PPE items that we’ll all need for the foreseeable future, there are core items that are universally useful that afford you similar luxuries of brand repetition in the everyday life of your consumers. Take branded water bottles for example. How many water bottles do you own? How often do you use them? Everyone has a water bottle or two because they’re an essential item. So why not include your logo? By doing so, you’re ensuring constant brand reinforcement.

With the workforce and consumerism looking so different than we’re accustomed to, making that direct connection has become more and more difficult to achieve. That’s why promo is such a great solution to making those connections. You may miss face-to-face interaction, but who wouldn’t like a care package with a helpful product that they’ll be able to use regularly.
