UberHEALTH – Client Success Stories

11.05.2014 | Client Success

Uber is one of those companies that just thinks differently about the world.  They are shaking up the Taxi and Limousine industry and they might just be what many in the business world call a disruptive company.  This disruptive and creative approach to problem solving carries over into the marketing strategies.  Recently Uber launched a campaign called UberHealth.  This campaign took place in three major cities (New York, Boston, & Washington DC) and offered Uber users a free Flu prevention kit, with the option of a vaccination at the time and place of their choosing.

We were lucky enough to partner with Uber on such a creative campaign.  Details of the campaign were highlighted on NBC News’ website including a great pic of Stran’s contribution to the program.  Uber partnered with HealthMap, a team of researchers, epidemiologists and software developers at Boston Children’s Hospital founded in 2006 and Harvard Medical School’s Vaccine Finder Program.  Using the Uber App, users were able to request a nurse from the Passport Health and Pager program who brought one health pack (featured below) and optional flu shots for up to 10 people.

Stran was able to turn these bags for Uber in just 2 days…We were thrilled to work with the creative and team at Uber and look forward to more exciting and unique collaborations.
